Speedway Indiana’s own Williams, Dausch and Lord are the featured Artists and Photographers
David Lord is a Speedway resident and a founding member of The Automotive Fine Arts Society. AUTOMOBILE MAGAZINE described David Lord as one of America’s best painters of motor racing scenes. ARTIST’S MAGAZINE observed that his canvas seems to resonate with the clamor or roaring engines, the rush of precision vehicles and the illusion of steel slicing the air at 200 miles an hour. Lord’s scenes combine his love for the speed and beauty of automobiles.
Josh WIlliams has had a love of racing and photography for years. He is well known in the town of Speedway and his work can be seen in several businesses in the area and afar. With the use of his camera and computer technology, Josh creates one-of-a-kind masterpieces that truly capture the color and excitement of the racing world. His award-winning work has been featured on the cover of Trail Rider Magazine, a variety of other magazines and CD covers.
Gary Dausch, born into a family of racing, has had a love of the sport since a small child. He has worked in the field of racing in many different capacities, from marketing, to restoration, from painting to racing! His appreciation and experience are truly extensive and can be seen in his paintings. A fine automotive painter, he captures life-like qualities and speed in his works. Gary and David Lord were featured in the 100th Running Program for the Indy 500.
